Tag Heuer SLR Mercedes Automatic Chronograph in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire for sale

For sale is my beloved Tag Heuer SLR for Mercedes Automatic Watch (self winding mechanical) Bought from Tag Heuer directly in 2008, this is a beautiful piece. It was last serviced by Tag Heuer in 2014 and is still under service warranty. The watch has been independently assessed for insurance purposes by Berrys of Windsor and comes with the original display box, outer box, warranty card, instruction manual and original receipt. The watch winds automatically as it is being worn and has an approx 2 day power reserve. The time is accurate and is displayed in the normal fashion with the large and smaller hands showing the hours and minutes and the smaller right hand sub dial showing the seconds. The small window at the bottom of the dial shows triple date. The calibre 17 has a chronograph with the large second hand for seconds elapsed and a smaller sub dial on the left for minutes elapsed. This is operated by the 2 push buttons on the right side of the case. The bi directional turning flange (inner ring) moves via the second crown at 9 o'clock. The watch also has a double anti reflective coating on the sapphire crystal making it very easy to read and is water resistant to 100m. Inspiration for the watch was taken from the SLR McLaren Mercedes and the ribs on the rubber strap mimic the strakes on the side of the supercar. This version of the watch is in my opinion the best there was. It doesn't have the SLR logo on the outer bezel (which is ugly). It's the automatic (there is also quartz movement version), it has the right strap (the stainless strap is too shiny and bling) and it also has the vertical pin stripes on the face which is rare.
